About Me
Adena Hodges
Transformation Specialist
Adena Hodges is the founder of Transformations Community, a non-profit ministry for survivors and the people who love them. She is also the creator of the Transformations 2.0 Curriculum and Group Support model, which is an on-line learning and Zoom-based group experience that focuses on trauma education and healing through relationship with both the Trinity (i.e. the True Family—Father, Son, Holy Spirit) and others in community.
In addition, Adena is the host of Testimony Mountain, a weekly YouTube and Rumble video podcast focused on releasing stories of the power of God’s love to transform lives through teachings and guest interviews.
Prior to her current leadership roles, Adena focused on prayer ministry in churches, developing a strategic prayer model for pastors and leaders that impacted many churches and prayer teams while also building community. She holds a Masters in Christian Leadership from William Jessup University.
Adena is passionate to see people restored and walking out their true identity in Jesus. She loves to teach, write, and facilitate group encounters with God. As a complex trauma survivor herself, she understands the complexity that faces those who have experienced similar things. She has discovered keys that has helped herself overcome that she is honored to share with others. With a compassionate heart, wisdom, and practicality, she inspires those she mentors in groups as well as those she ministers to in one-on-one counseling sessions walk out their transformed life.
Windows Into My Soul is Adena’s third book. Her first two books were written before memories surfaced of her trauma. Three Easy Steps Towards Revival was written while she was an intercessory missionary in her local house of prayer and embodies three of the powerful prayer tools that impacted her life. The Inheritance is loosely fictional as well as partly autobiographical. It is a light-hearted tale that also has an impactful message of redemption and God’s love. Her fourth book is in the works and focuses on the theme of biblical paradoxes. It is scheduled to be released in late 2025. All of her works can be found on Amazon.
As a Christian leader for most of her life, as well as a survivor of mind control and SRA, Adena straddles two unlikely communities. Most churches do not know how to help survivors and are not equipped to do so. Adena has a passion to see this change through education and compassionate care.
